The Bible tells us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts, and not to depend on our own understanding. If we acknowledge him in all our ways, and he will direct our paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Trusting God is the key!
What is trust?
Trust is a firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.
When we trust, what we are doing is putting our faith in God’s reliability, ability and strength to get us through some new endeavor that could feel fearful sometimes.
Our own emotions and feelings can really mess us up and try to steer you away from your purpose in life.
Never trust those words in your head that tell you, you are never gonna do this, your not smart enough, pretty enough, rich enough, have the right connections to make this thing happen.
Feelings LIE and are fleeting!!!!!
Thats why God said not to lean or listen to your own understanding cause He knew our mind would talk us right out of it.
When we acknowledge God and ask Him to lead us on hard decisioning making issues He promises to direct our paths.
That sounds like a win win to me!
So lets Trust Him, shut off our mind and emotions ( when they are belittling you) , acknowledge Him so we can walk out our life’s purpose with Faith and Boldness.
You are never alone in life when you have the Holy Spirit’s leading and guidance, but we must learn to listen to our marching orders and not allow our soul (mind) to talk us out of it. As you renew your mind with God’s word and spend time in His presence you will be able to decipher the Father’s voice and His gentle nudging in your walk of faith.
When did you step out in faith and see God come through BIG time for you? I would love to hear it, comment below.
